Our Story

Paddlz was born out of a passion for pickleball, a sport that has been rapidly growing in popularity worldwide. Pickleball brings together people of all ages and backgrounds, offering a unique blend of fun, strategy, and fitness. But we noticed a gap: while the sport was expanding, there weren’t enough paddles that combined top-notch performance with vibrant, unique designs that spoke to players’ personalities.

From the moment we designed our first paddle, we focused on craftsmanship, durability, and innovation. Vikrant Rajesh Suryawanshi

Founder, Paddlz Pickleball Co.

Based in Indianapolis, USA, Vikrant is a passionate pickleball and badminton player who brings a strong engineering and manufacturing mindset to Paddlz.

With over eight years of experience spanning manufacturing, quality, operations, and global supply chain leadership at a Fortune 500 company, he combines technical expertise with a relentless focus on product quality and continuous improvement.

Vikrant holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems, and a Master of Business Administration. At Paddlz, he leads product development, quality assurance, strategy, supply-chain, and long-term brand growth.

Prasad Sanjay Borde

Co-Founder, Paddlz Pickleball Co.

Based in Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, Prasad is an entrepreneur with over eight years of experience building and operating successful businesses across multiple industries.

His ventures include 3D Station (rapid prototyping), Penalty Box Sports Infra (sports turf and pickleball court development), Apsara Ice Cream, and Samarth Book Depot. His experience in entrepreneurship and sports infrastructure gives Paddlz a strong foundation in execution, customer experience, and community building.

A Mechanical Engineering graduate, Prasad oversees operations, business development, partnerships, and the expansion of Paddlz across India.

From Classmates to Co-Founders

Engineering Classmates

Vikrant and Prasad met while studying Mechanical Engineering, where their shared interest in problem-solving and building things laid the foundation for a lasting friendship.

Two Different Paths

After graduation, Vikrant built a career in manufacturing, quality, operations, and supply chain leadership in the United States, while Prasad pursued entrepreneurship and built businesses across rapid prototyping, sports infrastructure, retail, and hospitality in India.

A Shared Opportunity

As pickleball began gaining popularity in India, they recognized an opportunity to combine their engineering knowledge, business experience, and passion for the sport to create something meaningful.

Bringing together product innovation, quality, entrepreneurship, and a shared vision for the future of pickleball, Vikrant and Prasad founded Paddlz.
